Hillsides covered with thick forests, acres filled with apple orchards, small picturesque hamlets and remarkable views in all directions combine to make Chindi and the area around, it one of the most beautiful places in Himachal Pradesh. This pocket is still off the beaten track and yet, has good facilities in terms of road, small markets and accommodation.

Set under the thicket  of deodar trees, the wide and sloping glade of Naldehra stems from the Kufri hill. Naldehra is best known for its par 68 golf course with nine holes. This course has been in existence from the early twentieth century and owes its presence to Lord Curzon, the British Viceroy of India who fell in love with the spot and often camped here for days on end.  He was so enchanted by the spot, that he even named his daughter `Naldehra'  after the place.
