ABHYANGAM 
(A whole body massage)

The term “abhyanga” means oil massage, we do Abhyangam as a pre process of Panchakarma.Two expert therapists do the abhyangam in synchronised , systematic way . Massage increases metabolism which leads to better tissue respiration, increases circulation, causing the body to flush out its waste products more efficiently. Abhyanga improves concentration, intelligence, confidence, and youthfulness. It helps in alleviating Vata troubles. It provides comfort to the eyes, sound sleep, tones up the body, Improves flexibility, softness and firmness of the skin and for long life. It is the most ancient method used to remove muscular fatigue and pain the massage is done in a special wooden table called “Droni”.

NETRA TARPAN

A special treatment in which the eyes are bathed in pure medicated cow's ghee. This procedure takes 15 minutes.

NAVARKIZHI 

A Highly effective rejuvenation technique using a special type of rice  that is cooked, tied into boluses and dipped into an the Herbal decoction and warm milk, then skillfully Massaged is simultaneously by two therapists all over the body for after the Abhyanga.

PIZHICHIL( Kayaseka)

Pizhichil is a unique treatment emerged in Kerala, which was developed from ancient classical treatment called "Kayadhara."In Pizhichil lukewarm medicated herbal oil is poured all over the body. Trained therapists do it in a special rhythmic way continuously for about 45-60 minutes per day. It should be done as a course of 7 days minimum. This treatment is very effective in Rheumatic diseases like arthritis, paralysis, hemiplegia, nervous weakness and nervous disorders.

PATRA PINDA SWEDAN 

Small bags containing Herbal leaves are applied to the whole body in boluses with hot medicated oils for 45 minutes per day. This treatment is for osteo arthritis, Rheumatoid arthritis, spondalosis, sports injuries etc.

SHIROVASTI 

Certain lukewarm herbal oils are poured into a cap fitted on the head for 15 to 60 minutes per day according to the patient’s conditions. This treatment is highly effective for facial paralysis, dryness of nostrils, mouth and throat, severe headaches and other vatha-originated diseases. Also effective for the loss of tactile sense, facial paralysis, speech difficulties, insomnia and nervous disorders. Also prescribed for other diseases of the head, eyes, ears and nose.

NASYAM

Nasyam is the treatment of nasal application of herbal oil or juices. A purification method meant for eliminating vitiated doshas from supracervical region. Nasyam is also effective for paralytic and mental disorders.

ULTRASONIC FACE MASSAGE

We have got ultrasonic deep tissue massage unit which do deep massaging for soft areas such as face etc. it helps in increasing blood circulation with any side effects.

PALAMPUR 

Set against the backdrop of the majestic Dhauladhar Mountains, Palampur derives its place name from the local word plum, or 'lots of water'. And water certainly abounds here. There are large rivulets-like the turbulent Bundla Khud-small streams and tiny brooks. Palampur owes much of its early rise and prosperity to tea-which attracted several European tea planters and their families. Several important Hindu shrines surround and a variety of sightseeing is at hand. Panchkarma therapy at Palampur is offered at Himachal Tourism Hotel Tea-Bud. Surrounded by tea gardens and trees of cedar and pine, this is located towards the upper end of town. ACCESS 

By air: Kangra airport is at a distance of 37 kms and by rail, the narrow gauge Kangra Railway feeds Palampur from the Moranda station, a distance of 4 kms. The road distance from Delhi is 545 kms and from Shimla this is 235 kms. 

 

CLIMATE 

Warm is summer, cottons are recommended. Cold in winter, heavy clothes are required. Mild and pleasant at other times, light woolens and cottons are suggested.
